Fior di Roccia is a historic business in Valmalenco born in 1950 and taken over by Elisabetta and Carlo in 2021. Do you know which legend our name is linked to? The rock flower, or edelweiss, is said to have been born thanks to a star that wanted to reach and create company to a lonely mountain with an inhospitable climate. Here the flower has learned to grow despite the adverse conditions, needing only to some shade given by the mountain and its drained soil. This is exactly what we want to convey to you in our Locanda di Montagna: the values of simplicity, positivity, the power of sharing and the respect for nature.
