This second-floor studio apartment above a family home has private guest access via an outdoor staircase. It’s a rustic stone house, built in the typical style of Valtellina’s mountain villages. There’s wi-fi throughout the studio and guests can independently control the heating and air conditioning during their stay. With wooden floors and exposed beams, the spacious studio has a welcoming open-plan design, with large front-facing windows revealing the Orobic Alps. Other than the living and dining area, which includes a fully-equipped kitchen with two induction rings, fridge-freezer, coffee-making facilities, kettle and eating utensils, there’s a sleeping area and separate bathroom with a shower. Breakfast is served with locally sourced, organic produce, some of which is made by the hosts, who run an organic cheese company. The apartment runs largely on sustainable energy generated by its solar panels.
