Rifugio Osteria Alpina

The Osteria Alpina has been open since 1935 in the center of the village of Codera. It is a cozy refuge 850 meters high in the heart of val Codera, an ideal place for a walk in the world of granite and for a relaxing stop on the path of the Sentiero Roma, the Sentiero Italia or the Via Geoalpina. The Osteria is managed by Antica Cotaria with the aim of developing eco-sustainable tourism. The family atmosphere reconciles a refreshment break and will undoubtedly make your stay pleasant! The Osteria is open all year round as a place of aggregation, refreshment and accommodation, also with the formula of the hotel spread thanks to the houses of the village (with double rooms and rooms with multiple single beds) made available by the owners. At the Osteria they cook the organic products of the vegetabile gardens of the village, cultivated by the volunteers of the Association Amici della Val Codera OdV, for an authentic zero kilometer. Vegetarian and vegan meals are also prepared upon request. It has a large dining room, heated by the fire of the fireplace, and an adjacent room open on the days of greatest attendance or available, on request, for other activities. Outside, the tables shaded by the grape pergola invite you to stop and offer a nice glimpse of the village and the valley, in front of the imposing mount Sasso Manduino. The hut has heated rooms, hot and cold running water, shower, possibility of internet connection on request. A small library, tourist and information publications on the valley, bowls field and board games are available.
